Why start here
Dr Pedro Valente has been a registered medical practitioner since 2007, and holds specialist registration in general practice (FRACGP).
Every treatment plan starts with a medical history reviewed by a doctor: your health, your medications, and anything that changes what is appropriate for you.
Your skin is photographed and measured with the clinic’s own scanner, and the images are gone through with you at your assessment.
Rejuran is administered at the clinic by a registered medical practitioner, following an individual assessment.
How it works

You come in with what you have noticed about your skin, or simply wanting to understand it better. You do not need to know which treatment you want.

A 45-minute consultation. Your skin is photographed and measured with the MedSkin Scanner, your medical history is taken, and what the images show is explained to you.

You leave with a written plan: one of the clinic’s treatment programs, an individual treatment, or no treatment at all if that is the right answer. There is no obligation to go ahead.

Treatments are carried out by the dermal and medical team, reviewed as you go, and adjusted to how your skin responds.

Aesthetic treatments
An injectable gel administered into the skin by a registered medical practitioner, to improve the appearance of the skin.
Fine, sterile needles make controlled channels in the skin, discussed for concerns about texture and scarring.
A hydrodermabrasion facial that exfoliates and hydrates the surface of the skin.
Light at set wavelengths, most often planned alongside other treatments rather than instead of them.
Radiofrequency energy that warms the deeper layers of the skin, discussed for the appearance of skin laxity.

Dr Pedro Valente founded The Skin Wellness Hub to bring medical oversight to skin health and aesthetic care. He graduated in medicine with honours (MBBS Hons) from the University of Tasmania, holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Science, has been a registered medical practitioner since 2007, and holds specialist registration in general practice as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
Being doctor-led means every treatment plan here starts with a medical history: your health, your medications, and anything that changes which treatments are appropriate for you. That is the difference between a clinic run by a doctor and one that only has a doctor’s name on the door.
The Skin Wellness Hub is a team, not one person. Dr Valente leads the clinic and oversees every treatment plan; your skin assessment and your skin treatments are with the dermal therapists, who work together under his clinical direction, and injectable treatments are with a registered medical practitioner. Your plan and notes are shared across the team, so whoever you see knows your skin and your history, and you can book directly with the dermal team.
